Structural Engineering · Infrastructure · Technical Lead

Profile

Sandip Adhikari is a senior structural engineer and technical leader with over eleven years of experience across the analysis, design, assessment, retrofit, construction supervision and technical management of complex building and infrastructure projects.

His work covers reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, timber and foundations, with seismic and wind engineering, dynamic analysis and performance-based design. He applies ACI, Eurocode, IS and BS standards, and works in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, Perform 3D, CSI Bridge, ANSYS and Abaqus.

That range has been applied to high-rise buildings, hospitals, airport terminals, commercial and residential developments, industrial and specialised structures, and major hydropower infrastructure — including the 285 MW Upper Tamor, 47.9 MW Tamor Khola-5 and 21 MW Palun Khola projects. Internationally, he has carried out advanced analysis and performance-based design of 28- and 41-storey reinforced-concrete buildings in Bangkok, and structural design work in India.

He brings independent design review, multidisciplinary coordination, constructability and value engineering to assignments where the structural solution has to be safe, economical and actually buildable.
