Tridev Gupta

Tridev Gupta is a principal architect working across architectural design, master planning, Detailed Project Report preparation, project management and architectural visualisation. His assignments cover municipal, tourism, hospitality, institutional, commercial and residential developments for government and private clients across Nepal.

His design work runs from concept development and schematic design through working drawings and construction detailing to statutory approval drawings, with master planning and pre-feasibility studies at the front of the process. He prepares Detailed Project Reports, Initial Environmental Examinations and feasibility studies from proposal stage through to completion.

He has led the architectural design of municipal, tourism and infrastructure projects — directing DPRs, IEEs, feasibility studies and master plans while overseeing residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional work. Earlier assignments covered residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings, and the working, statutory and presentation drawings behind them.

He models and visualises in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Photoshop, and teaches the same tools — delivering training to architecture and civil engineering students and guiding interns through design workflows and the DPR process.

Much of the role is coordination: holding a design together across engineers, contractors, clients and government authorities so that what is drawn stays functional, context-responsive and actually buildable.
