Profile

Anil Gongol is a civil engineer working on construction supervision, building construction support, detailed engineering survey, soil investigation, design coordination, quantity estimation and DPR preparation.

His assignments cover municipal and public buildings, multi-storied office buildings, ward buildings, stadiums, covered halls, airport infrastructure, roads, bridges, tourism facilities and urban development projects across Nepal.

On site he plans and organises field programmes, runs reconnaissance and setting-out survey, takes site measurements, and carries out topographic survey with DGPS and total station, alongside soil and geotechnical field coordination.

On the documentation side he reviews architectural and engineering drawings, prepares working drawings, cost estimates and bills of quantities, and writes the DPRs and technical reports that go to project managers, team leaders, contractors, municipalities and government agencies.

He began as a surveyor on road, bridge and airport construction work, and has since carried building and infrastructure assignments from first site investigation through design documentation and estimation to implementation.
