Survey, Design & Cost Estimate — Trail Suspension Bridges (EP-06/075/76)
Detailed engineering survey, design and cost estimate of trail suspension bridges across nine districts under a single Suspension Bridge Division package.

Assignment overview
Trail bridges are the least visible and most consequential infrastructure in rural Nepal. A single span decides whether a village's children reach school in the monsoon and whether its produce reaches a market at all.
This package covered detailed engineering survey, design and cost estimate across nine districts spanning the Terai, the hills and the far west — Kapilvastu and Rupandehi through to Bajura and Myagdi.
Delivering a multi-district package under one contract is a logistics problem as much as an engineering one: crews, instruments and design capacity have to be sequenced across sites that are days apart, within a single field season.
