Detail Feasibility Study — Ramghat Airport
Detail feasibility study for a proposed airport at Ramghat, Surkhet for CAAN.

Assignment overview
Karnali Province's road access remains slow and monsoon-vulnerable, which makes airport capacity a development question rather than a convenience one. Ramghat in Surkhet was assessed as a candidate site.
e2services carried out the detailed feasibility study for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, covering site assessment, terrain and approach considerations, and the demand case for the facility.
Airport feasibility is siting work of an unusually unforgiving kind. Approach and departure surfaces impose geometric constraints on the surrounding terrain that cannot be designed around, so the terrain survey either supports the site or rules it out — there is little room for engineering to compensate.
The study gave CAAN a decision-ready basis for the site, combining the survey, terrain and demand assessment that a capital commitment of that scale requires.
